- Defended local, privately held restaurants in several salmonella cases. Defended matters through motions for summary judgment, arguing causation.
- Obtained summary judgment for Fortune 25® retailer in a case where plaintiff allegedly sustained injuries as a result of consuming undercooked chicken purchased at the retail location.
- Coordinated response to an extensive third-party subpoena for a pharmacy distributor tangentially involved in a class action lawsuit against a pharmaceutical manufacturer.
- Obtained a defense jury verdict in litigation involving a plaintiff who suffered injuries resulting in quadriplegia.
- Defended medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies against hospital-grade product liability claims in the state of Iowa.
- Acted as local counsel in a lawsuit filed against a national legacy brand alleging that the presence of BPA in baby bottles was toxic to consumers.
- Acted as local counsel for a case in which the plaintiff allegedly developed metallosis from insertion of a hip implant. Case was resolved before going to trial.
