BIOGRAPHY

I am an accomplished trial attorney with more than 36 years of experience representing and counseling insurance companies, third party administrators, and small and large businesses (including Fortune 500 Corporations) on a wide range of complex matters. I have served as lead attorney with respect to claims involving wrongful death, product liability, construction litigation, automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability claims, and claims for defamation. My background also includes representing breach of contract claims, claims for fraud and misrepresentation, and real estate and commercial litigation matters.

Throughout my career, I have successfully defended cases through all phases of litigation, including initial investigation, preparation of pleadings, motion practice, taking and defending depositions of lay and expert witnesses, and trial of cases to verdict. I represent a diverse group of clients before state and federal courts. I also have significant experience handling matters through alternative dispute resolution forums, including binding arbitrations, court sponsored settlement conferences, and private mediations.

Prior to joining MWH Law Group LLP, I represented corporations and insurance companies with respect to matters involving tort and commercial litigation and made use of my architectural engineering degree when handling construction litigation matters. My philosophy is to identify client needs and expectations and exceed such expectations. This is accomplished by communicating with clients at regular intervals to provide risk analysis and case evaluations, and by minimizing overall cycle time by exploring opportunities to summarily resolve matters, either by way of risk transfer, motion practice, or settlement, unless trial is warranted.
