MWH Awarded DEI Award by West Des Moines CoC

MWH Law Group LLP was recently awarded the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Workplace Excellence 2021 Award for Small Business. The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion program’s goals are to help amplify businesses and people doing meaningful work for others. The purpose is to learn from and to also elevate those who have creative inclusive work environments through their workforce, supplier diversity and other programs, and employee development initiatives.

MWH Law Group received this award at the inaugural Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Workplace Excellence Awards event in West Des Moines, Iowa on Wednesday, September 1^st, 2021, presented by the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce. Eleven award categories are presented for businesses and individuals, including: Small business (1-49 employees), medium business (50-249 employees), large business (250+ employees), nonprofit, government, education, DEI Leader of the Year Award, DEI Emerging Leader of the Year Award, DEI Student Leader of the Year Award, DEI Ally of the Year Award, and Best Inclusion Initiative Award. MWH Law Group Equity Partner, Julie Bittner, accepted the award on the firm’s behalf.

A portion of the event’s proceeds was donated to Big Brothers Big Sister of Central Iowa to support their mission of creating one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
