MWH Law Group Attorney Taylor Sellers Appointed to the City of Des Moines Skywalk Committee

MWH Law Group is proud to announce that Taylor Sellers, an associate in our firm’s West Des Moines office, has been appointed to the City of Des Moines Skywalk Committee. Taylor was nominated by the Urban Design Review Board, where she already serves as a member, and her appointment was unanimously approved by the Des Moines City Council. She will serve a term expiring June 30, 2027.

The Skywalk Committee plays a vital role in advising the City on policies, improvements, and oversight of Des Moines’ expansive downtown skywalk system. The system is a unique feature of the city’s infrastructure, supporting year-round pedestrian access to key downtown destinations and businesses, while also contributing to broader goals of urban connectivity and development.

Taylor’s appointment builds on her current work with the Urban Design Review Board, where she helps guide the visual and functional aspects of urban development projects throughout Des Moines. This dual involvement reflects a growing commitment to public service and civic participation in shaping the future of the city.
