MWH Law Group Attorney Ayanna N. Ellzey Appointed to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee Board of Commissioners

MWH Law Group is proud to announce that Ayanna N. Ellzey, an associate in our Milwaukee office, has been appointed to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) Board of Commissioners.

Ayanna’s appointment was made by Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson and unanimously confirmed by the Milwaukee Common Council on September 22, 2026, following a unanimous recommendation from the Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development Committee.

The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee provides housing options and services to Milwaukee residents and works to foster strong, resilient, and inclusive communities. As a member of the Board of Commissioners, Ayanna will help support HACM’s mission and its work serving residents throughout the Milwaukee community.

A Milwaukee native, Ayanna returned to her hometown to continue her legal career and contribute to the community that shaped her. At MWH Law Group, Ayanna focuses her practice on Employment and General Litigation.

Ayanna’s appointment reflects her commitment to public service and continued involvement in the Milwaukee community.
