MWH Achieves Defense Verdict for Big-Box Retail Client in Three-Day Premises Liability Trial

MWH Law Group congratulates firm Partner Veronica Kirk and her team for obtaining a decisive defense verdict for a large, big-box retailer in a three-day jury trial in federal court.

In her premises liability claim, Plaintiff alleged that the store’s negligence in keeping its parking lot clear and properly illuminated resulted in more than $1 million in damages.

The jury disagreed, however, determining that our client was not negligent in any way.
