Eric Andrews Elected Treasurer of the Wisconsin State Bar Association

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – May 1, 2019 – The Milwaukee office of MWH Law Group LLP is pleased to announce that Senior Associate Eric L. Andrews has been elected treasurer of the State Bar of Wisconsin (“SBW”). In this role, Andrews will serve the board through activities including general financial oversight of State Bar activities; participation in State Bar financial planning and budgeting; and advising on the State Bar’s fundraising strategies.

“Diversity within the State Bar’s leadership is imperative to the formulation of new approaches and tactics to ensure it remains financially healthy, and I am committed to bringing this approach to the State Bar,” said Eric Andrews of MWH Law Group. As a Senior Associate at MWH Law Group, LLP, Mr. Andrews concentrates on litigation defense, including personal injury, civil rights, property damage, toxic tort, product liability, and premise liability matters.

Mr. Andrews is a graduate of Marquette University Law School and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He previously served on the Wisconsin Association of African American Lawyers (WAAL) Board of Directors from 2012-2017 and was WAAL President for the 2014-2015 calendar year. Mr. Andrews served on the State Bar of Wisconsin Board of Governors from 2016-2017. He currently serves on the State Bar of Wisconsin Diversity and Inclusion Oversight Committee and on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation (WisTAF).

In 2016, Mr. Andrews was inducted into the Fellows of the Wisconsin Law Foundation. He has been selected as a Wisconsin Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2016.

The 25,000-member SBW aids the courts in improving the administration of justice, provides continuing legal education and other services for its members, supports the education of law students, and educates the public about the legal system.
