VERONICA KIRK

As an experienced trial attorney — including in-person trials during the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020-2021 — I am recognized as a subject-matter expert and have trained and mentored attorneys and staff while managing large caseloads in a dual in-house/client-focused role.

Prior to joining MWH Law Group, I served in-house with a mutual insurance company, first as a Claims Specialist, then as Trial Attorney. In my role as Trial Attorney, I litigated cases from referral to resolution, including drafting pleadings and discovery, as well as dispositive motions. I am adept at taking lay and expert depositions, identifying and working with experts, managing mediations, and handling negotiations.

In my role as Claims Specialist, I managed property damage and bodily injury claims from unrepresented matters through fully litigated cases. I was responsible for investigating claims to make determinations on coverage and liability, and evaluating the necessity and reasonableness of medical treatments using expert resources, as needed.
