MEGAN M. REGENNITTER

I focus my practice on Contract Support, Corporate and Transactional, Employment Litigation, General Litigation, and Real Estate. My employment litigation experience includes investigating and defending against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination before the Iowa Civil Rights Commission as well as in state and federal court. My corporate and transactional practice includes creating and advising businesses, including limited liability companies, corporations, and not-for-profit organizations, managing asset purchases and sales and stock and unit transfers. In real estate, I draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, lease and sublease agreements, platting, abstract and title commitment review, and close real estate transactions.

Prior to joining MWH Law Group, I was an attorney at law firms in Illinois and Iowa where I represented clients in litigation matters, including unemployment hearings, administrative hearings, Iowa Civil Rights Commission investigations, and district court proceedings. I represented clients in guardianship and conservatorship proceedings in Illinois and Iowa courts and have coordinated and closed multi-million-dollar real estate transactions. I earned my Juris Doctorate at Drake University Law School and Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from the University of Iowa.

I am currently licensed to practice in Illinois and Iowa.
