In nearly 10 years of experience in civil litigation, I have defended numerous personal injury cases for privately-held as well as Fortune 100® insurance companies. I am proficient in handling all aspects of a lawsuit, from initial pleadings to discovery to resolution, including dispositive motions and summary judgment. I have participated in a dozen mediations and have served as lead attorney in two jury trials. I have also been the lead attorney in more than a dozen bench trials in various areas of the law, including contract disputes and real estate matters.

In my real estate practice, I draft purchase agreements, deeds, leases and ancillary documents related to commercial, residential, and agricultural real estate in Iowa. I have handled partition actions involving the breakdown of ownership interests in real estate as well as multiple closings of residential real estate transactions, and assisted both landlords and tenants in commercial and residential leases.
