MWH is working to move the needle when it comes to diversity in corporate law, and future generations of lawyers play a big role in making this possible. Minorities are underrepresented in the legal profession, especially at the senior level. Since its inception, MWH has consistently addressed biases and discrimination in the legal work environment, pushing for opportunities that have led to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion. The strength of MWH is directly tied to the diverse background of its entire team.

MWH Law Group is awarding a $5,000 scholarship to an incoming or current law student who is making a positive impact on diversity and inclusion. The individual selected must be currently enrolled or enrolling for the fall semester at an accredited law school in Wisconsin or Iowa.

MWH Law Group Scholarship Award Details
One scholarship in the amount of $5,000 will be awarded to one successful applicant. Recipient of the scholarship will be contacted by email or phone in June 2022.

Use of Scholarship
This $5,000 law school scholarship can be used for law school tuition, books, extra courses, school related activities or any need that comes up during your law school experience.

Eligibility

1. Incoming or current full-time student of accredited law school in Iowa or Wisconsin.

2. Limit of one entry per applicant.

3. Demonstrated service to the cause of diversity and inclusion.

4. Letter of recommendation from a current or former teacher, professor, or supervisor

MWH Law Group equity partners will select one student to receive the $5,000 MWH Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship award based upon an essay submission and application. In addition to the scholarship, winners will have their essay published on MWH Law Group’s website and connected social media accounts.
