Carlos Pastrana Promoted to Partner at MWH Law Group LLP

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – January 24, 2018 – The Milwaukee office of MWH Law Group LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of Carlos R. Pastrana to Partner, effective January 1, 2018.

“Mr. Pastrana is an integral member of the firm’s Labor & Employment team” said Emery Harlan, a founding partner of MWH Law Group. “His community service and business development skills are also commendable.”

Mr. Pastrana has more than 15 years’ experience practicing in all areas of labor and employment law in Wisconsin, Illinois, Puerto Rico, and other jurisdictions. As a native Spanish speaker who is fully bilingual, he advises and trains local, national, and international private and public-sector employers with both English- and Spanish-speaking unionized and non-unionized workforces on how to handle day-to-day issues that arise from managing employees, and provides legal advice in labor and employment matters to clients who are in the process of setting up, or who already have, operations in Latin America, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Puerto Rico. Mr. Pastrana is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and the University of Central Florida. He is heavily involved in the Latino and non-profit communities in Wisconsin, and currently serves on the Board and as an Executive Committee Member of La Casa de Esperanza and as a Board Member for Great Lakes Community Conservation Corps, and was recently named to a Latino Roundtable that advises the Milwaukee County Executive on issues that affect the Latino community.
